Week 5 – Update Video #5!

This week we spent a little less time online and a little more time with our community. 🙂 Our team held a crowd-fundraising event at Nouveau Antique Art Bar complete with a photo opp with props & costumes, a raffle + children’s books & hip-hop toddler shirts for contributions toward our cause.

We also attended a Neighborhood Centers event hosted by Houston’s undocumented youth who shared their stories on stage at the Ensemble Theatre.

Then Saturday morning a group of us jumped on the METRO Rail, instruments in hand, and spontaneously played music for people riding the rail to work. Check it out in our video…and stay tuned for the complete version of the flash-music-mob ride on the METRO. 🙂

& DON’T FORGET!! This is our LAST CHANCE to meet our crowdfunding goal!! Our campaign officially ends this Thursday, August 22nd at midnight!! Please help us in this final push to reach our goal! We’re about 1/2 way there, meaning if everyone who’s donated up to this point…gets 1 other person to match their donation or to donate, we can meet our goal by the deadline easily!!
